Living Labs

A SWICE Living Lab is a co-creation and participatory process working towards positive impacts in relation to energy and wellbeing, in the context of living and working in Switzerland. It involves multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds on equal footing, whose roles may change over time.

A Living Lab is bounded in time and space, is either material or immaterial, and involves a (quasi) experimentation process that takes place over four main phases: co-design, implementation, assessment and scaling up. A Living Lab can take place at different scales, engaging with groups of citizens in a city or with inhabitants of a building.
